Xbox gamers have been left unable to access online service on Thursday, following a major outage on Microsoft’s multiplayer network.
Titles such as Destiny 2 and Call of Duty: WW2 have been affected, leading gamers to vent their frustration on Twitter.
It’s currently unclear what has caused the outage and Microsoft’s Xbox Live Status page is showing no known issues at the time of writing.
However, support staff have been in contact with gamers on Twitter to assure them they are in the middle of looking into it.
The problems are affecting users on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Xbox on Windows 10 and other Xbox devices.
According to website DownDetector , which tracks major network outages, problems started at around 17:55 GMT.
“@XboxSupport Why can’t I make or join a party on Xbox Live/Xbox One when all services are avaidable?” wrote one frustrated gamer on Twitter.
Xbox Live is a paid-for subscription service that allows gamers to play multiplayer games online as well as buy and download titles.
